Ring in the New Year with something special! The 1.1 kg Langres is the perfect way to welcome the new year in style. This French cheese from the Champagne-Ardenne region has an ivory paste and a washed, orange rind. Adding Champagne right into the Langres brings out its natural flavours and turns the night into an event! Serves 6-10 people.
- Unwrap cheese, leaving wooden band on. Let rest at room temperature for 60-90 min
- With a skewer, puncture 7-8 holes in top of cheese and rest an additional 20 min
- Pour 1/4 – 1/2 bottle of Champagne over cheese and rest for an additional 20 min
- Remove wooden band, and serve with sliced baguette & flutes of Champagne. Enjoy!
